A child safety gate for an existing deck, with matching hardware. The gate features self-closing hinges, a floor bolt, outwards-facing latch and a pair of hook-and-eye locks to keep the doors open.

built-in Deck Privacy screen
Deck privacy screen built into an existing deck. The existing 4″x4″ posts on one side were removed and replaced with PT 8′ spans, framed with PT 2’x4’s and painted to match the rest of the structure.
The frame was built to accommodate two 2’x4′ vinyl trellis screens picked out by the client.
Deck Resurfacing

Weathered deck with damaged planks and missing steps. Repairs were made using pressure-treated lumber and stainless steel fasteners to increase longevity.
The deck was then cleaned with a biodegradable low-VOC wood cleaner and pressure washed before applying a thick resurfacer to fill voids, paint the wood and harden to prevent both splinters and any further weathering.

Garden Redesign
Overhaul of existing backyard to supply more than 150 sq feet of garden space, with an 8′ x 8′ storage shed and outdoor kitchen. The garden beds were constructed using solid wood and brackets to ensure long term durability, while allowing for proper drainage.
